2019 Ford F-150 Exhaust 5.0 Coyote V8 Flowmaster FlowFX 40 Series
Exhaust is a great way to customize your vehicle. While I am getting older, I felt it was worth the upset neighbors to hear that Coyote motor growl.
I liked the look of the side exit in front of the rear wheels of the Flowmaster FlowFX kit (717785), but the quiet turbo style muffler just did not cut it. I also ordered an original 40-series muffler, single in 3" and dual out 2-1/2". (80430402). The outlet pipe spacing was about 1.25" wider than the FlowFX so I have to cut the inside tailpipe and add in some stainless tubing.
Video was shot as my wife started it up in the driveway and pulled out gingerly. It's very aggressive at 1/2 to full throttle and has a lot of drone at highway speeds. Sorry for the minor loss of audio, my iPhone is having a few issues lately.
Installation took about 4 hours in the driveway. I had TIG welded the tailpipes prior. Taking the stock exhaust off was not too bad and only had to jack up the truck slightly to get it removed over the rear axle.

I know it's not automotive related, but in life you sometimes have to fix something besides your wife's car! Is your Popsockets broken and don't know how to fix? If your popsocket has separated and you can't push it back together, take a look at this video. Simply take the decorative back cover off, push your thumb into accordion rubber boot and push while twisting to re-seat your popsockets.

unfortunately, it's pretty much impossible to get a free service manual anymore and there's hundreds of fake websites that purport to provide them (and charge for it) and don't actually have them. Spammy links and more. The one exception is Nissan (they aren't a bunch of @$$holes like the American car companies - no wonder people are buying more foreign vehicles than ever before!)
